Re: Our next coach
All those supporters yearning for a coach who can't win a flag and then dumps clubs with a desperate need to rebuild. I shudder at thought of our club hierarchy getting on their hands and knees and begging for his return. He came in last time where we had a cracker of a team but couldn't give us a f...

Re: Brad Hill - trade?
With the report of Brad Hill interested in going to North Melbourne it could end up being good for St Kilda since the current coaching staff haven't worked out how to use his strengths anyway. but you can bet Clarkson will if he wants him. Hill seems to have worked out that the Saints aren't going a...

Re: Predictions. St Kilda vs Brsisbane
When I first saw it was a Friday night game I immediately became depressed. Hower, in my tipping I went for Saints by 11 points, but that was just hopeful because my tipping lately has been deplorable.

Re: 2023 - YOT Rabbit
Thanks, I might be old and a bit thick, but if the players keep standing with their mouths open when Hill starts breaking lines he'll just do what he has now resorted to by just passing the ball off to someone else instead, so he doesn't waste his possession completely. That's one of the things that...

Re: Question for Ratten lovers
Well my two bobs worth is that we need to ramp up on and off the ground leadership and more ... If Ratts had have been sacked I would probably be just as nervous about most of the possible incoming coaches as well. If we can play well in one quarter when we're going down the gurgler, then we should ...

These Friday Night games are like St Kilda FC and the AFL have got together to devise a plan to spoil every Saint supporters weekend.

My prediction is the club will decide to trade out half the list to teams so they can develop into stars so we can rebuild again.

Re: Players not worth bothering with any more
High priority picks and good recruiting are all very well, but one thing that worries me is just how much further development other that natural development and more experience do our players get compared with some of the other teams, so many of our players have gone to other clubs and developed hea...

Re: Hannebery to play next week
Well, I've read all the viewoints but my view is simplisic. We all know we are almost certainly not going to win the flag and we'll be lucky to get in the eight anyway, so if the selection committee reckons he's ok to go, I'm quite happy to take a punt. What can we lose?

Re: Luck of the Draw?
Our 2022 fixture looked difficult from the start, but we have only ourselves to blame for our current position out on the ladder because we lost winnable games and failed to build percentage when we had the opportunities.

Without having the opportunity to see on TV just how Brad Hill was so strongly tagged and obviously lost is confidence and fumbled etc, it's hard for me to make a conclusion. I have never seen him play so poorly. Whatever, the coaching staff need to address this - the only thing I can come up with i...

Re: v Bris game thread
Can’t believe the negativity. We win that game if those players don’t go down, no side in the AFL can win with 3 outs in the last qtr. Think that’s rose coloured glasses Their midfield got on top They lock straight early we are 3/4 down They were class above when it mattered Midfield needs an injec...

…to St Kilda… No doubt the low crowd figures…(of course, their fixture is crap) , will be used as an excuse to pile on pressure to North Melbourne. ..move to Tassie. , move to Tassie…move to Tassie or fold…fold…fold.. Re: Paton for Geary
I agree with the title ''Paton for Geary'' at the current time as I read it, I would have Ben Paton over Jarryn Geary too, however, I certainly won't put our past captain down and although a lot of his kicks were wayward, he was a very good on field leader and ''gave all'' in his games, which I appr...

Sorry guys, but I happen to know one of the umpires who umpired tonight and one of the players mentioned above and they are good blokes. They are not dishonest. May have been some mistakes made and some frees not paid both ways, but the two individuals I know are not cheats. It's not good blokes th...

Bradley Hill on 200 games, overcoming criticism of his form etc ...
There were high expectations placed on Brad Hill, and he struggled in his first two years at Moorabbin. - by Rebecca Williams (DailyMail) https://bit.ly/3Lwtxw5
