In most rounds channel 7 only have the rights to do Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, however they then also get to have all the extra 'marquee' such as the opening Thursaday night game, Anzac day, queens birthday etc etc.

Out of the three Sunday time slots the 1:10 definitely gets my tick.
Hate with a passion the 4:40 Sunday slots, get home too late for a Sunday night (yep i must be getting old).
3:20 is Ok but would much prefer it be back to 2:10.

The fake grass has only been extended to the boundary line behind the goals and at the interchange gates. These area are the high traffic areas and as such wear a lot more quickly.

It's basically a cost saving measure so they don't need to replace the turf.

Scary to see players like Dangerfield and Hannebery in that side. The impact they are having for their teams is massive and it makes it feel like that have been around a lot longer and are a lot older than what they really are.
