One word to turn us around. Get Choco to assist and teach. Honestly I will learn how to do cartwheels if we got Choco That will be quite a sight watching an old overweight guy like me doing cartwheels. The other thing we need to do is hold onto guys who generally use the ball well (Hill & NWM)a...

Don’t see the point on bringing any of these guys back in.
Why not give Leo Connelly a run and Bytel . Give them something to motivate them over summer.

Make a lot of noise about other clubs discards but all we seem to be good for is walking around in the piles of sh!t we’ve left laying around

It’s review time - a genuine, independent review of the footy Dept and Lethlean needs to stay out if it Maybe he could appoint Phil Gaetjens to do it? I’d ask Noble Noble well regarded at Adelaide as their football manager With lethlean moving to the top job why not offer him the footy manager role...

About where I expected us 8-12 We are not any better than that - not the cattle Absolutely spot on - we are an 8-12 team . Perhaps if our 3 youngsters can go up another level next year, and King can fix his mental demons, we can finish a little higher. But I doubt it - our development skill are non...

Re: He's Only 22
It’s now in his head.
If he doesn’t fix it this preseason and next year then it will haunt him and the club his whole career - and we will never win a flag while he is our main forward. You can’t have your main forward missing multiple gettable set shots in a final and expect to win.

Where does he play in a team with a strong midfield?
Small forward with an occasional run in the middle - a little bit like Cyril did , and similar to Rankine at the GC now.

Re: Small Forward
Mitchito finds a way to get a couple goals a game at VFL level. His tackling pressure seems good also. If he can bring that to the AFL side next year then we may have a versatile mid who can also play as goal kicking forward. I was about to use the word “small” and then remembered he’s not exactly s...

At Hawthorn, Ratten was the feel good assistant was a perfect foil to Clarko the strategic genius and at times harsh critic who cools deliver a fearsome rocket.
We don’t have a strategic genius in the coaches box nor anyone who can give the players a rocket when required

Jury is out He’s showed a few glimpses but nothing to suggest he is AFL capable He could be anywhere from Lewis Pierce to Rowan Marshall Agree he’s shown a few glimpses- but for me, those glimpses are enough to suggest he is AFL capable. The fact he showed some signs in the early games and none in ...

He played with confidence last night. Previously a bit stand offish, he was a lot more purposeful in wanting to win his own ball. I thought it was his best game for us last night. If he takes that desire to win the ball and chase into the remaining games for this year we will have an absolute weapon...

So We don’t back our leadership and culture Lethlean, Ratten, Steele To get him on the right track? Soft imo Apart from Steele, our onfield leadership is weak as. We are the most mentally brittle team in the comp. I’m struggling to see us managing him any better than Collingwood. The only way it wo...

Forward line needs another marking target.
Please bring Sharman in the kid leads to right places
Lost count of how many times Max king started in the goal square and led to the pocket / boundary line when there was space more directly in front
Sharman at least takes a defender away from King

And as is Dodoro’s way, he will ask for 2 first round picks , as well as flag interest in 1 or more of our players. He has already shown his interest in Marshall this year which looks like it was to try and drive up the price we had to pay to re-sign Ro. Been a couple of years, but he must be due to...

Did Sharman do enough today? I'm not sure & I'm a fan. I think he, Michito, Nasiah & Windy along with Clark, Billings, Butler, Higgins need a run with Sandy next week to decide. I only watched the first and last quarters today, but based on the 50% I saw today , I think he goes out next gam...

You need to do a bit more than kick a goal or 2 as a forward As well as hitting the scoreboard you need to Create goals for others, contest, defend, chase, present, harass etc Membrey does a lot of those things Was he doing those things 6 games in? I like Sharman, but he doesn’t look like he will e...

Based on what I saw on the weekend, this is what I would do In Leinert, Byrnes Out Webster, NWM Byrnes has earned his crack. It will be short lived because he will be replaced by Clark after bye. Despite the big numbers, Clark just looked like he till needed another run. NWM just needs a few games t...

Windhager is developing nicely and i understand the argument that he should play in Steele’s absence to fast track his development - however if we get all of Clark, Steele, Higgins back, with no new injuries, then this team can go very deep into Sept. Windy perhaps makes the team as the medi-sub. Gi...

It’s a big game for Sharman
Kicks 3 or more and probably cements a spot for the foreseeable future.
Kicks 0 and is likely out of the side next week.
Kicks 1 or 2 and is a week to week proposition
Hope they play him close to goal.
