That hurt today, in front all day just like the 09 GF, Schneider cover yourself in glory and kick a crucial goal. Donuts! The umps still hate us too...

Re: Beau Maister

The difference between a solid game and a poor game are those relatively easy marks that he has a habit of putting down. The bronx cheers are uncalled for though. Such a shame as he busts a gut.

Don't mind it at all. Sticking point might be The Filth refusing to release Banger for any role other than senior coach.

Re: Scott Watters sacked: Official SS reaction thread

Certainly not the end of the world by any means. Deemed not to be the right person to take us forward. Club is heading in the right direction IMO , Exciting future ahead .... Nice post Greg, I completely agree with your comments. After the trade period I'm convinced the club has a bright future. Pi...

Re: Dermott loves our club now

Dermott's a fool. I've never rated him as a commentator. Yes, he was a very good footballer but have a look at the team he was in. Hawthorn dominated that era. How would his career have gone at another club?

Tom Lee is going to be a very good player for us, possibly even elite. He has a stack of ability and is an excellent kick of the football.

I was there, one of my favourite days as a Saints fan that was. I'd never heard a Saints crowd so loud as that day.

It was the right move from the club. Looking back in 3 or 4 years it will be obvious imho.

Recently departed Saints team

B: Guerra - Dawson - Baker HB: Peake - Blake - Gram C: Dal Santo - Ledger - Lovett HF: Lynch - Koschitske - Cripps F: Milne - Walsh - Saad? R: McEvoy - Goddard - Ball Just for a bit of fun. Yes I know Guerra was ages ago and I've included a few retired regulars. Can't recall if Peake was delisted or...

If we can still acquire Delaney and Bruce it will have been a terrific off-season.

Re: Dal's now gone :(

This will end up being a win for the club. Dal Santo's best football is well past him now. No longer will we have to tolerate him coasting at half pace, drifting in an out of games or being completely nullified by a hard tag. If we use all these picks wisely in the draft we'll be laughing in a few s...

Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade

Disagree in strongest possible terms. I have no faith in our list management Ben was a No. 9 draft pick whon the club has put 6-7 years into and he repaid the club in the past 3-4 years.  Not the star we all hoped he might be, but a solid, reliable performer to the point I would think him the front...

Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade

The hysteria in the media and social-media about the Saints trading of Ben McEvoy to Hawthorn for Shane Savage and pick 17 is absolutely typical of the uneducated masses who feel compelled to make comment. People seem to think McEvoy's a star just because a fool in BT lauded him as 'Big Boy' every t...

Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade

This is great work from the Pelican! McEvoy has good football skills for a big man but is as slow as a wet week and can't win a hit out to save himself.

Re: Watters reassured By Summers and Thompson

What is Plymton's motive? And why did Andrew Thompson apologise? I believe the club is on the right track despite the poor win/loss record of this season. Stability is vital at this point.

Ledger delisted

As per below from saints.com.au. Really disappointed with this news. Ledger looks a decent player for mine. St Kilda Football Club can confirm that primary listed players, Tom Ledger and Jay Lever, along with rookie listed player, Jordan Staley, have been informed they will not be offered new contra...

Re: Was Dermi right about Watters?

Take what Dermott says with a liberal sprinkling of salt. He's a stubborn SOB and is painfully predictable in his commentary, analysis and tipping. I remember him saying St Kilda wouldn't win the 2009 flag beacause they're St Kilda, blah blah blah. Hopefully he's right about Watters but don't take B...
