Re: Another bogey off our back
It's a bit of a stretch to suggest it was an interstate final, whilst technically correct, it was neutralised for obvious reasons. Playing Port in Adelaide will be an interstate final.

Re: Kent
So other than Hannebery who is elite, Sinclair who was once classified as elite, and Lonie who knows both of them We can’t expect anyone to come in and play good footy. Gotta make three changes this week. If Battle doesn't come up then it will be Hind Marsh Phillips. That's a win to Richmond right ...

Re: Geary haters. Please post negative comments here.
Funny stuff. Who would have thunked it, Geary, our Captain stands up in a big game, a final no less. I love how he isn't in our best 22. Just love it. I hope he continues to be outside our best 22. Almost as silly as saying a bloke who is top 10 in the comp for contested marks can’t actually mark! ...

Re: Kent
Kent plays and I'm fine with that What concerns me is making to many unnecessary changes to a winning team His current role is not to kick goals, it is a bonus if he does. He's playing higher up the ground as a two way runner trying to help out accosss the half back and then help with i50s and the ...

Vortex, 3 wks ago our reserves had a match against the Injectors' reserves. 16 a side. Matty Parker played for the Bummers. 2 wks ago, our 2nds played the Giants. In one of those games, Marsh played forward. Dunny had a good game. Against Bummers 2nds, Jake played and the coach twice mentioned the ...

Re: Ben Long One Week
A massive loss.
s*** we may be having to make 3 forced changes this week and if Battle doesn't come up it means the players who might come in are
Marsh
Hind
Ed
That's a serious quality downgrade without meaning any disrespect to those three players.

Then 'Match conditioned' is the only thing saving him. Been invisible for weeks now. As I've been saying all season, and I have heen correct all season, there is no 2nd tier comps to give the coaches a look at other players or to provide players the normal opportunity to practice their skills and d...

Re: Fantastic...but...
Thrilled with where we are but on the subject of "but"s - was I the only one who thought the intensity of our final was way way down on the intensity of the other three? Apart from what was going on inside our heads, it looked like a home and away game to me pressure-wise. Think of Danger...

Will be playing against Tiges. Nothing more certain. Just getting it out there early so we can avoid wasting bandwidth. Doesn't matter what his statistics are. Don't even look them up, Ratts probably won't bother looking at his stats either. Why will Kent get a match, becuse he's match conditioned. ...

Re: Take the asterisk off
No way there was 22 there last night. Not even close Brains. Be lucky if there was 8k there. Was as empty as. Official crowd: 22,104, and Ticketmaster reported "Sellout", in your defence though, because of the coloured seats at the Gabba it is often difficult to differentiate between occu...

Will your use of the * be creatively applied or similar to WoW Jones tattoo?

Re: Named Team vs Dogs Elim Final.
Was secretly hoping to see Luke Dunstan. He's not even an emergency  You cant play players who don't have match conditioning and it's baffling how many fans don't get this basic requirement for being capable of selection and to enter an AFL field. It precludes all other selection criteria incl...

Re: Take the asterisk off
And btw, the game was a sellout last night, and the capacity is being lifted to 30,000 for the GF (Gabba can hold 42,000) So what was the capacity last night because if it was sold out then it must be no more than 5k to 8k. The k = 1000 22,000 Though to be fair, that’s probably one of your closer ‘...

Re: Take the asterisk off
One of the most underwhelming qualifying finals I have ever watched. Doesn't even come close by comparison to finals played in full strength years. The games are so predictable, with 9 mins to go you knew Geelong were cooked and weren't going to claw back the small and very gettable lead by compari...

And nobody’s watching. THE OPENING match of the 2020 Toyota AFL Finals Series, Port Adelaide v Geelong, attracted a total average TV audience of 1.49 million. The audience was up 23 per cent compared to last year's Thursday night week 1 final (West Coast Eagles v Essendon), and out-rated all week 1...
