Re: We will still finish in the top 8
Hawks just got done by the Crows, and we play them on Sunday with 3 extra days break. Surely, SURELY we’ll beat them?! I don’t care about Hawks We have to focus on ourselves If we dropped to Hawks then don’t even bother re finals Destiny in our own hands so 1 of GWS Eagles a must win If we don't ab...

Re: Ratts message to fans after round 14 loss
We'll be right, percentage booster coming up, when Clarko says he's not interested in wins you can bank the 4 points. Incidentally is that an integrity issue, who else could put on the public record as a coach that it's all about tanking. And then gift the Crows their first win...and a big one. Make...

Re: Saints after Zach Williams
The only issue I have with chasing all this top end talent is how does it effects the players already on the list. I was hoping a few of our home grown boys would take the next step with the talent top-up we got over summer but with the exception of Steele, most have either stagnated or gone backwa...

Re: Roughy backs King and Saints forward line
Please don't incite the intellectual nuff nuffs by posting content that might start another goddamn thread about how King drops marks. Anyone with a brain knows that King is doing as good as job as can possibly be expected for a 20yo KF after 14 games with the best defender on him each week. Don't ...

Re: Team balance and who'd you like to see this year?
Sinclair added a bit of pace to the midfield when he went in there on Saturday. His bullet like kick into the forward pack for a goal to Marshall was a joy to behold. Give him more time in the centre. Sincs has been really good last few games. His set up kicks into F50 was our best attempts all nig...

Re: Paddy, fit and symptom free.
Gee an immanent return of a marking forward would be a salivating prospect for Ratts. The choices, kick it to the athletic 200cm forward and have it slip through his fingers or kick it to the not so athletic 194cm forward and watch it bounce off his chest. Decisions, decisions. Kick it to Max, he'l...

Re: 5 years @ $800k
If I were Steele I'd be looking at what the likes of DH and Hill are on compared to their output, and then asking for a few 100k more. How could the club say 'no' with straight face? Gee if you throw Billings into that mix you'd probably demand $1million more. Not sure how much Billings is on, but ...

Re: Team balance and who'd you like to see this year?
Forget Bytel, Byrnes, Parker and Abbot as options for 2020. Doubtful they will get a game. Not having a second tier comp has made it hard to make changes and the longer the season has dragged on the less match condition fringe players will become. A massive dilemma. When the Dees made 6 changes I t...

Re: Where are we losing it?
We got smashed by ground ball in forward line. They kept taking it out with ease, when May wasn’t marking it. Yup. Hard to avoid the feeling that the tall forwards have been instructed to "bring it to ground -- just bring it to ground. That's all you need to do." So they bring it to groun...

The selection of this week's team will be interesting.
It's time to lay down the law on basic skill errors.

he's played 1 good quarter out of 8. My definition of rolling up the sleaves is 8 good quarters out of 8. Especially when your team needs you, when the game is very winnable and a win can establish your credibility as a top 4 contender like against the Lions or like when a win can secure you a fina...

Re: Micky Milkshake on Ratts
That's utter bullsh!t. Billings gets back plenty well defensively. He plays the role of a modern wingman well and sweeps back to give the half backs support - Same with Hill. But Jack's presently horribly out of form.. The most effective exponent is Menagola at Geelong. Defensive running is not jus...

There was nothing wrorg with what was said You have an interesting take on racism, one that I haven't quite worked out where you stand on the issue. However can I suggest this. Robbie has now made it clear that at this point in his life, he does not like the nickname, not only for his own reasons, ...

Re: Micky Milkshake on Ratts
Defensive running in the midfield the Achilles heel. In which case the defence really has held up well given the quality of ball coming into the D50. We must have a few downhill skiers. Who in the midfield is he referring to? It would have to include Billings without doubt. He's turning into a very...

Re: Where are we losing it?
He’s not a liability. We’re just asking a LOT of a green kid. Yup. And an interesting time at selection this week. Melbourne proved you can turn 6 players over and win, I was certain we would win for that reason alone so maybe time for Ratts to chop 6 players, these would be mine: King Billings Hin...

Re: Where are we losing it?
We are losing it due to Max King being in the side and Members not being able to kick goals from within 30m of goal. It's that simple. Even the coach is publically acknowledging this point. Max needs to be dropped so we stop kicking it to a forward who can't catch a ball at the moment. Just move hi...
