Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
Wasn’t we frustrated recently for having such games
Pride Game etc
Or was that just excuses for losses?!
Didn’t RTB when he was allude to the fact we need to prioritise winning football rather than being distracted by side issues??

Re: Owens
At his best
A bit better than a gop
You don’t get multiple best on grounds - in AFL games
If you’re an ordinary footballer
Failure to acknowledge his achievements- shows ignorance
And in all honesty- disrespect

Re: Higgins Alir incident
Any process where the same action can receive two vastly different penalties because the outcome is different- is obviously flawed!
That and trial by media
And yes - having Christian alone deciding all penalties is also ridiculous
It should be an expert panel

Re: Owens
Pitiful? The season he won his first B&F we won 12 games. And he made the AA squad. Trevor Barker won his 2 B&Fs In wooden spoon seasons- were they worthless? I don’t think so, you still have to play well, against AFL opponents Greg Burns the same. Was he no good? His credits go as far back ...

They still have very good players who can damage Better midfield than ours LDU Simpkin Scott McKercher A decent ruckman Xerri A better key forward Larkey A better small forward Zirhaar DO NOT take them lightly!!!! They are full of young talent that can have a break out game at any time And a 4 x pre...

Re: Players in question for 2025?
Why would we trade in Ned Moyle
We have an elite ruckman who needs support - ie/a forward who can play in the ruck
Ned Moyle is a C Grade ruckman
Marshall is a C Grade forward
Give up an A Grade ruckman for two C Gradeers

Re: Careers at StK ruined
No - point of the thread is the ridiculous amount of bad luck we’ve had - and not just injuries- career ending/ruining injuries
Injuries are just that - bad luck - it’s a high speed collision game
We’ve had our fair share
I think Rod Owen did a knee
Maguire definitely broke his leg

Dylan Roberton definitely counts - still playing MPNFL
Sean Dempster to a lesser degree - he was old but retired prematurely with concussion

Billings is a HF
Langdon primarily plays wing
One plays the entire length of the ground- one side
The other is a front of the ball player

Can’t have 4 talls in the backline
Battle 193
Wilkie 191
Cordy 195
Howard 199
It means we lose bounce and slingshot from d50 and it’s the reason for the slow ball movement and poor use last week

Really, why thank you Teflon Your approval means so much to me! Just because a post suits your agenda doesn’t make it good… and conversely if a post is contrary to your opinion doesn’t make it bad! I’ll add some spice I don’t think Ross will be coach when we contend. It’ll be the first year of a new...

Who from the older core
Is not getting a game?
Zak Jones - Ross doesn’t rate him
Any others?
Is he playing kids over older players?
I don’t thinks so, or he would’ve played Schoenmaker instead of an underdone Howard - who was atrocious
