Re: stfu

Didn't someone mention on this forum that diabetes symptoms are very simular to concussion symptoms ( I maybe I read it somewhere else ?) Wondering if it's possible it's to hard to tell wether it's one or the other or a combination of both? They can mimick both hyper blood glucose (too much) or hyp...

Pity the Pelican didn't use his incredible insight and knowledge when it counted. 20/20 hindsight at its best. And people still rate this guy. Notice how clubs have been falling over each other to hire him since he left the saints? More of a goose than a pelican. Now that reads too much like a WW c...

Re: Chewbacca's Future as a Saint?

Not sure how the selectors gave him the nod this week. He must have trained the house down. Hope this means he's getting back to the Chewie of old. He hasn't been given the nod, he'll be an emergency once the squad is trimmed tomorrow! Well, to a degree he has, as he's in contention to be selected....

Re: An example of how we over rate our younger players

It puzzles me also. He's a good kick in general and seemed more accurate in front of goal when he started. Is he? I don't reckon he is. He looks like a great kick. Looks smooth. Quite often he doesn't get the depth in his kicking that he's looking for and too often misses simple kicks. It's frustra...

Re: Team v Eagles

I am disappointed that Marshall isn't in the squad. Surely he's a better option for 2nd ruck then Bruce. +1 Every time Baroose goes 2nd ruck, it affects him like Kryptonite affects Superman. I think it's why he struggles all the time. He's a bloody forward!! Let him play forward! Only one player in...

Re: An example of how we over rate our younger players

JB has kicked 17 goals 26 this year? If he'd been better and kicked 26.17 it would push him closer He kicked 6.12 last year. So maybe he just cant kick that well? I don't get how he nailed those goals against Carlscum... thats like a tail-ender hitting 5 sixes in a row off a paceman It puzzles me a...

Isn't the Pelican soaring majestically over the AFL industry with his new business venture called.........what is it again? Controversial comments in the media is the last desperate attempt to remain relevant. I have to say this - I got on the piss with Greg Packham at a past players/officials nigh...

Re: If Richmond can, Why Can't We?

Spot on Selhurst Saint. He's still a performing arts teacher working in Weribbee. My sister thought he was so cute, he took Trev's spot in her heart! The headband made a reappearance at the Junction Oval when he booted a couple against the Roys. Good bloke, and very funny. No wonder Tony Jewell didn...

... “I think they’ll continue with him next year,” Pelchen said. “But beyond that, in three or four years, I’d say no.” Three or four years? I'd say one or two at most. In 4 years time, he will have been on our list for 7 years and will be 25. No team can wait that long for a player to "come g...

Re: Cox's injury report

The situation with Paddy is becoming a real concern for all involved. There is obviously something medically, that is holding him back. That's a serious concern for him and his family. It also puts a lot of pressure on the medicos to make the right long term call for Paddy. I wish him well. Life is...

I like those odds! We've lulled the others into a false sense of security, now we are set to pounce, doggies-style (I know what you're all thinking. It says doggies!). Where there's life, there's hope. This will even trump the doggies efforts if we can pull it off! (There I go again, channeling Benn...

He did get his haircut at the behest of a Tony Jewell, but under Jezza the headband was definitely there.
