Brad Johnson hates the saints
I know we always believe commentators and umpires are against us, but I've been following the smiling fake, the hateful wanker, Brad Johnson. He hates us with a passion and isn't professional enough to hide his bias. Perhaps he is still bitter from Roo and the boys denying him a crack at a GF in 09-...

Re: Match thread v Eagles
As mentioned earlier, we set a record for forward fifty tackles up to 3/4 time. An AFL record. Couldn't turn that into a score. We dominated possession after half time. Still couldn't put them away. Our problem all year. Get the butcher paper and texts out AR. We need to fix this ratio of possession...

Great guess DDB. 21600 the official crowd. 4,000 WCE fans trapped at the docks waiting for a cocaine importation that was intercepted by the Feds.dals_da_bomb wrote:21500 - if todays anything to go by - its freezing!

Plenty of eagles fans over, but most of them are in Fitzroy St. And Footscray, looking to score.

Re: Match thread v Eagles
Should be three goals up. I think WS has a point about AR being like Moses. We look lost and wandering in the desert. They are far sharper and use the ball better. Our weekly lament.

Re: Match thread v Eagles
How many seasons is it going to take them to realise that Bruce is not a 2nd ruck. When he gets crippled beyond repair. Honestly, he can't play the position, we suffer every time he does and we risk hurting him physically and confidence wise every time we do. Masterful coaching. Two years. How long...

Re: Match thread v Eagles
Our structures are hopeless. Watching from level 3. We have heaps of the footy and crab forward. We get opened up on the counter far too easily. That's the problem.

Re: Didn't wear my Saints Polo shirt this week
Polo made one of the most outstanding debuts in history. Thirty plus possessions and three goals. A star in the making for the Tigers. We went for him under the "Michael Frost" delusion, in which one great game convinces you the guy is a champion.

And now, the ever adorable Mr. Ray Orbison, with a little song about Nathan Wright's AFL career called, "It's Over". Charming! Guess you have never heard of resilience or courage! I didn't mean to sound callous, but this is the last thing Nathan needed. He's playing for his spot on the li...

Looks in reasonable shape. I try my best. if you're a hagiographer , (a writer/biographer of the lives of Saints) then we might need a Devil's Advocate. If you have a spare 4 hours, I'd like to bend your ear on why the club needs to - Heave-ho to Aaron Hamill - sack Skrobalak - Konfirm the sacking ...

Well he wasn't stretchered off. He hobbled off with the assistance of two trainers. Then we couched up 3 late goals before the siren mercifully went. Coming home with a hurricane we looked odds on to win but managed to find ways to stuff up and actually got outplayed and outscored. It was dumb foot...

The spirit of the WW lives through the posts of WS. Quality, insight, proper grammar and humour. Nothing ever does, it is only transformed, as our ancient Hindu and Buddhist friends tell us. So do the modern physicists.

I think the need for a goal kicking coach outweighs the need for a Pyschologist. and the need for a spellchecker for LL outweighs the need for a goal kicking coach  *psychologist woohoo is that you spelly? BfUSA. They're so overrated. If we beat the west cocaine tomorrow, I'm sure we'll beat them next week. That will put us ahead of both. A win against the shitstains, Norf Melbourne and we will be in the eight. All comes down to the Tigers then. See how doable this is, folks? If only we'd beaten the SA versi...

Spot on Selhurst Saint. He's still a performing arts teacher working in Weribbee. My sister thought he was so cute, he took Trev's spot in her heart! The headband made a reappearance at the Junction Oval when he booted a couple against the Roys. Good bloke, and very funny. No wonder Tony Jewell did...

Jiggster. It's not the one with the most toys that wins in life. It's the one with the best delusions. Happiness is a subjective construct. If you're happy with what you have and your expectations are met, you're going to be "happy". Belief, not reality drives our satisfaction levels. I en...
