Re: Jack Hayes
Would still like to see him tried as a tall defender ... worth a contract and a pre-season training as a CHB.

Re: Backline
Wilson off a back flank may be an interesting rotation through the backline when Bonner and NAS need minutes off.
Garcia might be needed for cover as a small back if Stocker needs a rest / gets injured.

An opportunity to give time to Owens and Byrnes as genuine midfielders in the guts. Let's see Arie at CHB rather than Cordy - please.

Re: Trade - Draft Discussion
We would have to set this all up before other teams grab picks and deals from each other … but hopefully we are not just waiting for the trade bells to ring before we start floating scenarios in the background! We start with 12, 31 and 51 Gresham Coffield Billings looking for new starts. None of the...

Re: 2023 trade period
Carlton need points next year for both Camporele boys. Dow plus their first rounder this year For Billings and our next year second rounder and our next years fourth rounder We have leverage because technically Dow can just hold off signed and then become a Delisted free agent Essentially that is: B...

Re: Sub strategy
Now this is an interesting topic - the sub strategy. It comes down to whether the sub is for adding fresh legs vs covering potential loss of a player through injury. At the moment, I think our sub is based on the type of player we can LEAST afford to lose vs that week's opponent. Against a running t...

Re: Callout for moderators
While we wait for new mods, I have just sent 1 x warning PM to a baiter and issued 2 x 1 weeks bans. Sainternist and Annoyedsaint. Pretty obvious breaches of the rules. Perhaps have a read of the rules to remind yourselves of what could get you banned. While we await new mods, I might up my reading ...

CHANGE OF ADMIN ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi all As you might know, my personal situation with sick parents, a kid doing VCE and a business to run has meant that I handed over Moderation duties last year. I have made the decision to step away from Saintsational as the Administrator and after having consulted with Damien over the last few mo...

Re: Moderation changes
Just popped in to thank Kosi and St. Byron for stepping in.
With one parent in hospital and the other in rehab (from 2 weeks in hospital) I have very little time to be on here.
Really glad to the Saints doing so well.

My thanks to Kosi and St.Byron for stepping in. Dad doing well enough to go to the footy in a wheelchair on Friday and loved it despite the loss. Mum almost strong enough for her second operation so fingers crossed.

Re: Rowan Marshall / Luke Jackson
Luke Jackson is already a better centre bounce ruckman than Rowan. It was Jackson’s centre bounce work that sparked the Demons in quarter 3. Around the ground Marshall is stronger for ball ups and a better mark. But Jackson will get there. I am not sure Rowan will ever be a good centre bounce ruckma...

Re: Tristan Xerri
Very talented ruckman. Excellent body use. Very nice palming. Good mark. Has mobility and mongrel. North have only used him as a forward relieving Goldy when he rests and only for 8 games this year. But the guy is a pure ruckman and would be the perfect long time foil for Marshall. Toughest part of ...

A breach of rules will result in either a 1 DAY or 1 WEEK ban. Three 1 WEEK bans will result in that poster nic b...
