I don't like the way Lyon parted with the club, but in all honesty, I'd love to have him back because he is the best available right now - brilliant football brain with a hard edge and that's what we need.

I get the feeling that Clark will no longer be a favourite son at this club!

Not going to be popular saying this but if he's not truly committed to the club, I think the best outcome would have been to try and organise a trade now - we stand to get nothing at the end of next year when he's out of contract. Serious question........now I rate Karl Amon very highly as a person and as a footballer. Given that he is indigenous, is this bad enough to sway him to join the Saints rather than 'The Family Club'.
