I was thinking during the game that it wouldn't be surprising if he turned out better than a bunch of the top 10 picks. Absolute steal for us at this point, he looks like a natural and his vision and evasiveness are excellent.

every game count the number of times he is able to stop the opposition getting the ball out of a maul, and then obviously is immediately locked in by others. stops a lot of clearances with his hard inside work. Yeah same here. Thought he was one of our best, and his constant running through packs didn't seem to get him into trouble as much tonight. One of the positives.

To be honest I didn't think the umpiring was too bad tonight, there was just way too much of it. Would have been good to have longer stretches of play with the whistle put away
