Re: Darcy Wilson
Some good today Some things to work on Hopefully he continues to improve and develop into a good player Bit harsh on a 4 gamer don't you think Just because he wears #22 and not #40 something - I don't think you should judge him by it. He is not the Messiah - He is just a very talented boy! Uhhhhhhh...

Re: Crab watch
Didn't it take 2 clubs not really wanting Blake before he pulled his finger out. Was jogging on the fringe of contests for most of his time with us. Can't remember him throwing his weight around. Penny dropped eventually. Seems Voss only wants goers and Blues Captain is 6'5". Persuasive in the...

Re: St.Kilda 🆚 Bottom Teams
Not sure I agree with the conceit this year. Richmond was a bit of an anomaly being at Norwood and we played the ground terribly letting Bolton and Dusty walk all over the first half. Bombers I think have actually been in ok form this year and midtable contenders just like us in theory. Certainly wo...

Re: Injury Update
Only 6 players selected for neither seniors nor Sandy - Butler , Higgins, Crouch, Van Es, Henry and Hotton. Cordy named as emergency for seniors but also listed as being rested and not named for Sandy so looks like he will be rested. All bar Hotton are on our published injury list . Not sure what t...

Re: Team v Roos
I like the changes. Hopefully Cordy is back up and running soon as I feel like he's been pretty solid this year.
Happy to see Hayes in personally. Think him and King will really stretch the poor Roos backline.

Re: Higgins Alir incident
I am perplexed by our approach here. According to the matrix it's either 3 weeks or 0 weeks. Why would we even offer 2 weeks as a suggestion?

https://www.saints.com.au/news/1542487/injury-update-key-saints-approaching-comebacks Max King, Hunter Clark and Mason Wood could all be available for selection this week, only requiring the green light following fitness tests at main training on Thursday. In further pleasing news, Liam Henry is ant...

Re: Careers at StK ruined
Dylan Roberton definitely counts - still playing MPNFL Sean Dempster to a lesser degree - he was old but retired prematurely with concussion Chuck Koby Stevens in there who I was beginning to like quite a bit. Was never going to be a superstar but was coming into his own in the team I thought befor...

Re: Dual narrative
We have had the 2nd youngest list on the field this year. 2nd or 3rd is what I’ve heard Naturally talks to a rebuild in my mind Anyway good OP BM - I agree with the narrative We were lower, but 14th after this week (Adelaide, GC, Hawks, North lower). Still quite a bit below AFL average https://www....

Re: Comparing our Outs to other teams
Good post and probably just confirms what we know, we've had another wretched start to the year on the injury list. It would be time consuming but interesting to also see number of games missing too (particularly average divided by number of players missing) - would tell you the amount of experience...

Re: Higgins Alir incident
Thought it would maybe get a week but shocked to see it got 3 (and that's coming from someone who is very in favour of adjudicating more toughly on concussion prone actions). I think we appeal and make a case that Aliir's kicking action midair contributed to the severity, and I hope it gets downgrad...

Re: Sandy v Bullants
Arie was fine, racks up a lot of uncontested possessions and kicks and generally uses it ok. I'm yet to see anything to really propel him into the side personally but he doesn't look like a bust at least

Re: Sandy v Bullants
3qt Sandy 10.12.72 to 2.9.21 Collard started on ball and had a beautiful clearance straight out of the centre bounce to setup a goal. Didn’t last long and was sent back forward and was unlucky not to jag a nice snap which copped an unlucky bounce on the goal line. Not sure if he’ll be a Higgo replac...

Re: Sandy v Bullants
Zebs 7.8.50 to 1.8.14 at halftime Jones very good quarter, run and carry and overlap is tearing the game up and got on the end of a goal Some nice intercept and aerial defense from Keeler and McLennan. Hastie buzzing around and good in tight Hayes getting around the ground nicely and looks to be pla...

If you don’t mind me asking, how do you generate the text? I don't mind at all. I'm using this Whisper desktop GUI with the ggml-large-v2 AI model to extract the initial text, then I go through manually and listen and make corrections as required, then finally format a little with the tags here. Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 7 2024
Taylor said that Port had received over 400 more free kicks than opposition sides in Adelaide over the past 10 years. The AFL needs to look into this but of course they wont Even if that were true (it isn't - the stat was 400 more free kicks to Port AND Crows over that period), at 10 home games per...
