Re: If we win on Sunday

If we win I there will be an inquiry into match fixing.

With no effective forward line this game and the foreseeable future is about small wins ie, Will some of the younger players develop; will Jake show some leadership in defence; will Sebby combine with Steven (Rossven) )to smoke Dangerwood etc.

What the hell is the club saving its warchest for?

Either go out and get everything it can get, or might as well fold.

What action should take priority for the club: 1. Stay clam and continue to recruit from the draft in an orderly manner; ....accept we will finish low on the ladder but in time secure high draft picks with the hope that a quality team will evolve...eg Melbourne, Dogs 2. Concentrate on player develop...

Re: Time to hit the RESET button

Thanks BB. I agree with your sponsorship comment. I suspect many are questioning their attitude to core values. That bloke in USA who who cheats and lies his way through life so long as he "wins" has help sharpen the focus. Saints supporters generally appreciate genuine contributions such ...

Time to hit the RESET button

I haven’t posted here for many years. The reason I stopped posting was because of the negativity and the attack mentality of the less emotionally mature posters. It might be time to hit the rest button.Let see how we go? The St Kilda team that played in 2009 and 2010 grand finals was in my view the ...

Re: We Must Now Sack Jake Carlisle

Some positives in all this mess... Not one sponsor has contacted the club in a negative way, in fact a couple have responded in the positive way our club has responded immediately. Media have been strong in the way our club and players have responded to the incident. Talk of the building of a stron...

Pathetic response from the club! This was a chance to show some leadership and act in way that would shape the character of the club. Sack him ! Our relationship !

Dear Saints We need to talk ! We have been in a relationship for a long long long time. When we started going out when I was young and very impressionable. You were much older than me, but I was seduced by the fact that you were full of stars like the Doc, Big Carl and Cowboy and that you had just w...

I recall watching him consistently dropping his knees into the back of Milne's legs during a match in Launceston. Deserved end to an inglorious career in my view.

Re: Dermott loves our club now

Dermott saw the Watters sacking as an opportunity to get himself some publicity. He tried to do "a bit of a Hinch" by offering a view that is both sensationalist & opposite to almost every other commentator going around. We need to remember that Dermie is a small banana in a couple of...

Re: The argument for Roo to leave St Kilda

I don't see the relevance of identifying a player with a precise record of Roo. However, there are numerous instances of champions being traded and both parties continuing their success

Re: The argument for Roo to leave St Kilda

There is no argument for Roo to leave the club. End of discussion...... There certainly is an argument. Its matter for you whether you want to exchange ideas and engage with the issue or simply try and shout down any discussion on the topic. As to comparing Roo with Hodge, I agree they are both ins...

Re: The argument for Roo to leave St Kilda

The problem with jakes argument is that it implies that Roo is bigger than the club. The club should not NEED him. The club should be able to move on even if Roo did leave. That is way a strong organisation would deal with it. Eg Hawks - Buddy. You get the impression they are almost strengthened rat...
