It wasnt made clear on the coverage. I mean BT didnt mention it all.

Re: Jack Steven suspended for failing breath test

Well said, Con! He's 22, what's he gonna do, go home and have a Milo? We've all had a drink when we've had a bloody good reason to celebrate. Some ppl here think AFL players are like characters in an on-line game. They get hit, then "aarghh get up and chase, you weakling!" Game over, turn ...

Re: My turn to judge footballers on one week only

It's a typical trait of most football pundits, hardly surprising to see it manifest on the Internet when we amateurs share our views... No wonder we cant win a flag. I don't understand how the comments on an internet forum can have any influence on the inner workings of an AFL club. Whether it be t...

Re: One thing yesterdays game proved.....

IMHO. If BJ leaves; other players will have to step up and do a bit extra. Having someone like him, skilled with both feet, could actually make others a little complacent, like "give it to BJ, he will get spear a perfect pass" and when he's tagged, harrassed, and is a little off, can cost ...

I know I bag one or two players, but I like Raph even though he isnt perfect. Maybe he needs more support from the other backs. He gets run down because nobody nearby warns him! or run to space? Has big ticker.

Re: the blues show that anything can happen

In the margin comp on this board, we have 10 tipping the Saints & 4 tipping the Evil Ones. All the betting agencies have us at long odds. Would be unreal if we could win.

- 20 Gram's lack of effort Excuse me. Not sure why people love bagging Jason Gram. Gram always gives a fantastic effort. Watch tonight's game FFS. Watch how he runs hard to an opponent, and sticks one feeble hand out as they run past. It's not his fault if they are too quick for him !! Watch him ne...

Re: the blues show that anything can happen

One brilliant piece of play by Yarran, he was in the Filth's goal square, evaded a couple of ferals, then spotted up a team-mate in the danger zone - up the middle! Gilbo would have been caught holding the ball; Raph would have kicked it straight to a Bomber; Gram wouldn't have even gotten to the ba...

1. Stephen Milne 250th.
2. Yet another 10 goal+ belting by the Bombers (how many is that now?)

Wilkes. Against Melbourne, he reminded me of Ryan Gamble IMHO. I could be wrong, but he seemed to be flat-footed, fairly slow. Really hope he grasps this chance to prove himself to the coaches . Gram is picked again. Don't they replay the last match and discuss it? He did a toe-poke which gifted a N...

what you've just said... I imagine all of the scribes from the Age or Hun or whoever,
will simply copy and paste it, and use it in their post-game write-ups.
No need to change any of it.
Sadly; as predictable as another boat sailing in from the north. Same sh!e, different day.

I thought the club gets slugged with a fine if they change the team after the deadline. I don't know who has to wear the blame, i just hope they learn a lesson and not play anyone who is under a cloud !

Gram has a lot of skill. But no heart. Imagine if Blake had Gram's skills, or The Pillow had half of Blake's heart.

Quite often a player is out of favour with the coaching panel, so even if they are doing well, they stay in the two's.
Why can't we be unhappy then, with someone that we think is underperforming ?

Who else can they pick? It's not like we have depth ! Gram knows it...they keep picking him in the hope that he will actually wake up to himself and get the lead out.

Three of my workmates are fine upstanding moralistic men, with stable families etc. But when they have a few drinks, they do things that are so out of character....I refuse to socialize with them. They're always sorry afterwards , but sorry means "jack" unless you cut out the drink. Don't ...

Re: Is the Foe list destroying Saintsational?

there are a number of posters who quote the entire contents of a previous post, which we can all read anyway, so why repeat it... This takes up at least a page and a half. You know who I mean. Then we get to their absolutely brilliant reply. one or two lines. e.g. "at least I go to the games, y...
