Pretty sure I heard Zak Jones on radio say before the GWS game that he’d been to see a scratch match that morning assume it was a stkilda one.

Re: None of our opposition kicked the ton against us this season. First time since

(no vic home games) We played the first 5 rounds in Vic, including 2 home games at Marvel. It was only in round 6 that we loved to Qld, and played at Metricon vs Fremantle. I was talking about the league in general not just the saints and whilst we did play in Victoria earlier in season they weren’...

Bulldogs winning at least means Collingwood can’t play bruise free football on Monday if they want to avoid a trip to Perth in the first week of finals, hope they have a knock down drag out last man standing affair.

Re: Do we want the doggies to win.

Did they say Naughton went to hospital? Looks like a broken cheekbone or something similar. Is that likely to stop someone playing in a final in a fortnights time? Didnt stop one of ours.Forget who it was though. Josh Battle only missed a week with a small fracture but that had some concussion issu...

Brings up the whole question of records in this year, shorter games, shorter season odd home and away fixture (no vic home games). Do the records stand up ?

Our father son statistics are very ordinary hopefully Rooey's boys will will buck the trend & be Saint's legends just like their Oldman Yeah, we don’t seem to have any luck where you can outsmart the draft, father son, Irish Recruits, category B rookies, NGA... Hopefully the luck will change.

Darling kicked 2 goals one of those was on a lead that maybe Usain bolt could have spoiled, Kennedy kicked 1, maybe Carlisle would have spoiled the Oscar Alan mark on the goal liNe but on balance I can’t see Carlisle making that much difference on balance I thought the backline did pretty well. The p...

Re: What is up with Jake Carlisle?

If don’t know how teams are selected but maybe you pick your backline as a unit not necessarily your best six back men, whilst WCE have Kennedy and darling only Kennedy 196 cm is a tall key forward, darling is 191cm maybe going with Carlisle and Howard (200 and 197) is going too tall. Maybe the sele...

Re: So, it's the Saints, the Magpies, the Giants or the Bulldogs

When you start to run the options there are ways we can make the eight winning no more games, relies on a few upsets but it is possible. It relies on at least three teams in the running for positions 6 -11 ( Coll, GWS, Mel, WB and Carl). Wining no more than 9 games or winning nine games with a % low...

I assume that each time Paddy was selected he was “fit and symptom free”. The issue not his fitness it’s his susceptibility to concussion.

From my calculations and beliefs looking at each clubs last 3 or 4 games! 🤓 Current Ladder: 6th: Collingwood - Win 1 of last 3 - 4 points 7th: St Kilda - Win 2 of last 3 - 8 points 8th: Melbourne - Win 3 of last 4 - 12 points 9th: GWS - Win 3 of last 4 - 12 points 10th: Bulldogs - Win 2 of last 3 -...

We didn’t play at out best but then neither did the lions, if they had of kicked straight the result would have been more like the Geelong and Collingwood games.
