Nothing works..... it's like having a partner you love dearly who keeps cheating on you, but always manages to convince you she's changed, and somehow talks you into giving her one more chance. The last two losses feel like she's given up all pretence of discretion... and a loss to Melbourne will f...

Re: Big Decisions

I think the time is right to face reality, Our side is going no where with this current list its time to make some drastic changes. Rooy - Needs to be traded, before its too late. His body is stuffed, hence the 10 rolls of elastoplast every week. Lets tade him while the rest of the league still rate...

I guess the question remains, does the club need to make a tough decision regarding Goose's future??? I'm thinking the club will be a bit gun shy to trade/delist him after injured Joel Smith was 'exited out' by the saints, but returned to play some great footy with the Hawks. I would hate to see Goo...

Aussie Jones had the best foot skills I've seen in the last 15 years, on both sides of the body. His goal running flat stick on his left in the grand final is a pearler.

Dal Santo is better than most lefties on his right, but it's still not a real strong suit for him.

Dunno the exact points, but with high contact, behind the play, intentional, medium force etc... Kerr can start packing his bags for the Mid season break already. With his record, if he gets less than 4 or 5, he can count himself very lucky. With West Coast in the form they're in, perhaps the mercy ...

Brown is too much like Kosi - big pack marks, inspirational stuff etc. Roo's workrate and engine is freakish, which neither Kosi or Brown are even close to having. Roo is so much more valuable working in a forward group, where Brown is better one out. It's obvious even now that Brown isn't having th...

A Quick Note To The Cheer Squad

Before anyone get's angry, this is NOT another cheer squad bashing thread. I think the guys in there do a fantastic job. It's just a quick idea that can directly help the guys on the field. When an opponent kicks a point into the opposition cheer squad, Dal/Joey/Grammy/Whoever rushes over and picks ...

"Sometimes you back into a contest and it happens (an opponent will flip over) but if the insinuation is that you are trying to do that or hurt him, then no way," Bolton said. Is it just me, or are some people missing the point. If someone takes your legs out from in front of you, your ca...

A few likely types over the weekend.

Geary would be only a matter of time.
Hill, N. Brown, Keiron Jack could have won without many complaints.

And you still have guys like Hawkins floating around too.

What about dropping the priority pick thing all together, and the draft list goes by where teams are on the ladder AFTER ROUND 10. There are very few teams who's seasons are completely over by then, so you wouldn't have the issue of players going in for early ops, and coaches wouldn't have the chanc...

This has been an issue for a while, but I think the way the coaches are trying to address it is through smarter running, not necessarily faster running. Take Lenny for example, he's never been overly quick, but it's not as obvious as a Leigh Fisher because he's rarely caught out of position. On the ...

If this truly is a thread about Round 1 (not another best 22 thread), then picking a team to beat the Swans is the priority. The game will be won between the 50m Arcs, so picking a strong, tough midfield is crucial. Milne for mine hasn't shown anywhere near best 22 form in the Nob cup so far, so he ...
