Re: 'Closed' training today

Bit confused about this 'closed' training session. You can go down to a training session at any time, I go quite often. The whole complex is quite open, it's a bit hard to keep people out. Absolutely, hence the inverted commas in the subject. There must have been an intro/welcome to those invited. ...

Any clues or should we guess No.11? 🙂
Only other lap runners I recall were Jake, Langlands and Billy. Max King of course.
Didn't notice Armo or Rice out there

Re: What's Happening with McCartin?

Paddy is a bust. If he was pick 61 instead of 1 he wouldn’t been delisted by now. After the players are drafted the pick they were selected at means squat. Max King will be taking hangers over him next year. I don’t agree he d be delisted if #61 after 4 years. If Dean Kent can be on a list for 7 ye...

We used our 2nd round pick for Logan Austin. That's why a lot of us wanted to make sure that he got a few games this season. The club has invested quite a bit in him. Think he'll make it thank goodness. We swapped this year’s third round for Port’s fourth round and Austin. http://www.afl.com.au/new...

other observations from training - like the look of Paton, good agility and strength, reckon he'll become a handy player - Seb training in that defensive distributor role - Lonie handy in the F50 drills, good competitor for size (I'm not a fan but he has a good crack) - Jake owned Lewie Pierce in on...

went to training today and based on the way they split up in match simulation, I'm guessing IN Carlisle (stayed out of one tackle drill but seemed to do most other work, incl match sim) Hickey Marshall Gilbo (staying in) Out Hunter Wright Joyce Longer Acres and Steele played for the second 22 group,...

One would assume significant work is being done on his technique. In the latest incident, for not the first time, he went head first to the contest when there was no need to do so. absolutely right, isn't smart with his head in collisions fixing his poor technique will remove more risk than the hel...

So all you see is the number '4' next to goals, without looking at the context... - one goal from a mark where no defenders were near him - one goal from his opponent literally slipping over to the ground. - one goal from a good snap admittedly - one goal from an actual mark on an opponent I admit ...

it's so bad it's laughable Gresham incredibly poor in front of goal I heard a former player on SEN talking about goal kicking. He referenced three keys to goal kicking, according to Jason Dunstall (who kicked a couple) 1. Run where you want the ball to go - straight at the goal 2. Have relaxed arms ...
