All we need are more meaningless slogans.
Slogan is a Welsh word which means battle cry of the dead.

Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
When someone beats their partner because they're in a foul mood after their team loses, I think that means sport has already been brought into it. Not everyone has the luxury of 'escapism' or to 'forget life's troubles' Agree, this stance of 'make footy only about footy' is just not possible. Once ...

Re: Higgins Alir incident
I think a lot of these problems could be foreseen which means they have been negligent. They don’t seem to think things through or that’s my perception anyway.
That’s why I reckon ‘unindented consequences’ can sometimes be used as a cop out.

Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
The government has caused financial distress through its inept policies which is putting a lot of pressure on households and causing all sorts of problems for families like domestic violence. But the government wants us to point the finger at other men. Which government? The one led by Albo that's ...

Re: Higgins Alir incident
Gerard Whateley said if you’re going to tackle someone who is upright then you’re better off letting them get a kick or handball away, rather than tackling them to ground and risking suspension. Have a read of a conversation they had on Fox Sports 2 weeks ago - before the Higgins Aliir incident. Ge...

Re: AFL’s play thing
I can assure you no one is more vocal and proactive to the AFL than Basset. He is a true Sainter so when the supporters feel an injustice has been done, I promise you he is just another disgruntled supporter who actually has a voice to the AFL. And he uses it. But as we all know it’s a fine line. U...

Re: AFL’s play thing
The AFL pretends to care about social issues but when it comes to managing equity within its own domain of influence, it clearly shows it couldn’t give one flying f.uck, but again that’s our fault because we’re mediocre.

Yeah, it’s totally our fault; we deserve everything we get including not having rules applied consistently because we’re mediocre.

The incentives are there for the competition to be compromised. Typical of our rent seeking, corrupt and over inflated economy.

Re: Higgins Alir incident
Kane Scorn being an annoying and erroneous contrarian again.
Having played for Port, he is also heavily compromised, like when he anointed a former Port teammate for the coaching job at the Dogs.
Game of mates!
