Big Emergencies

Stanley & McEvoy have both been selected as emergencies. They're both pretty big blokes. Makes me think there is a reasonable chance one of them may play.

Word is that Zac was ill in the off-season and lost 7 or 8 kilo's. He has appeared physically weak and lacking confidence for a large part of the season, but his recent form has been outstanding. On Saturday he regurarily backed his judgement and showed no fear, even against big bad Barry. If Max wa...

Kosi has the opportunity to play the game of his life and become a legend in the history of the club. If the Filth even think of getting rough, I'll expect Kosi to seek retribution and knock a couple of them out. This may sound like a out-dated strategy, but Malthouse is a prick, this is a Grand Fin...

Unfortunately Jason Gram has not found his 2009 GF form, and as such I'd rather a 100% fit Baker than a 90% Gram.

And for a longshot, I'd consider Nick Heyne. He was seriously impressive when tried. He is a hard bodied, pacy mid-half back.

Scores Level at the Final Siren, then extra time would be nice. The ultimate winner to be physically and mentally shagged. Our recent games against Geelong are always tough and close, and I reckon we'd be entitled to be equal favourite in a Grand Final. In recent years, we've "owned" Colli...

Great question, I've been asking myself for the past 24 hours. We're starting to "own" the pussies, and unless it rains again, I'd be quite confident playing them in the Grand Final. Freemantle would be great, but that's just not going to happen. If it's Collingwood, then I really hope the...

Not a great effort, and some ordinary umpiring decisions but I'm pretty concerned with our negative game plan. There is a place for the defensive stuff, but there is also a time to take the game on. We sure didn't do that today.

Our suffocating game plan often means we have no forward targets. Quite often Roo has to run back with the flight of the ball. It's little wonder our mid's appear to be indirect. I'd rather Kosi lead from the goal square, but boss Ross probably has his reasons.

So many outstanding memories. Plugger is the very best player I have ever seen - easily. The time he kicked a bag on Silvagni. Or the time he belted Rick Kennedy with the best combination of left & right after being squirel'd. One time he was playing for Sydney against Brisbane and was on track ...

If the Gabba is to blame for our loss to the filth, then Brisbane can probably use the same excuse for their dismal performance in Tasmania. It was reportedly the weakest performance by any team this season.

Hey Plugger, it's nice to see you back. It's kinda wierd, I'm on the other side of the globe, I've never met P66, I have no idea his age or even gender, yet I was genuinely concerned by his absence. I was thinking that the injustice of the Baker report may have caused a stress related health problem.

Pretty silly thing for Kosi to do, but pretty soft to be reported. Should get a reprimand, but with carryover points, he may miss a week or two. That would be most dissapointing, as he is finally working into form.

Hey Brat, I think the Dogs player on Marngrook last night was Rick Kennedy. As I recall, Plugger punched the crap out of him. Belted him with a succession of left and right punches to the head. That was the last time Kennedy ever grabbed Pluggers balls. Marngrook's the best footy show on TV. Plugger...
