Re: Rd 3 VFL Sandy vs Coburg- Scores

For those that have seen him play this year, is it fair to say that Curren would be in our senior side this week if he was on our senior list, instead of the rookie list? And what are his main strengths/weaknesses, please? I wouldn't think Curran would be in our senior team just yet. But what we kn...

Re: Changes next week

Winmar missed all games by being the 23rd player for Saints today.

Probably needs a full game next week at Sandy.

Seb struggled for Sandy. Not sure where Wilkes is getting a game with Roo, Kosi, Stanley & Macca all kicking goal(s).

I wonder if Farren is a chance against old side? Doubtful on form but the Doggies game maybe a slight reason for promotion.

Re: Rd 3 VFL Sandy vs Coburg- Scores

I attended for just over half the Sandy game...and i must have been standing next to BigMart cos I was also 2 metres from the Cockie hip n shoulder, I'm still feeling it now! Coburg certainly came to play, had some bigger bodies and ran strongly off half back. It was a close contest all day with San...

Re: IntraClub Game

I'd suggest the real season. Any club can look at its personnel as experienced, middle group and emerging talent. I have no doubt that there will be emerging talent - Ledger stands out as a midfielder to play plenty of games, as does Cripps if he stays sound. There is also a need brought on by neces...

Re: game jumpers

For those that didnt see, the Saints white clash jumper played the Murray Bushrangers strip. The bushies numbers were random so BJ was trotting around in a Bushies number 30 etc. Took a while in the rain to see who was who. I wonder what they did with the 5,000 salad rolls! It's a pity it wasnt play...

IntraClub Game

There are many reasons why this hitout dosent count for much - the ground under water, pouring rain during the match, 10 minute quarters, coaches barking inside the centre square, the threat of a plane landing! Nevertheless here are some observations; Terry Milera - this guy got a fair bit of it, th...

We played 5 quarters that seemed 10 mins....conditions driving rain to consistent rain!

3 min breaks

Was a decent contest considering

Just hope we don't have anyone injured or drowned.
I was in the rooms afterwards and saw no injuries.

Lenny didnt look at full freedom, assume soreness in extreme conditions.

Near Wangaratta has had about 20mm from 5am until now, 9.45am. Currently heavy rain, with more solid rain around midday. The Foz weather channel will update again soon! Hopefully it holds off Foz! The area certainly doesn't need anymore rain! If the predicted 100mm hits Wang and surrounding areas c...

Re: Wangaratta Weather

Good drying day up here at Wangaratta, mild and no showers. So, all will be dependent if the Bureau's 'Heavy Rain' comes in Saturday. Up to 25mm before the game, a guess would be the ground may hold up but more like the 50mm and anyones guess how deep the water will be. More rain updates tomorrow mo...

How long does it take to drive from Mansfield to Wang? should take you less than an hour and a half if you go up to the highway at benalla and up from there. or else take the back road up through the king valley which is a nice drive but will take two hours. Benalla is 1.5 hours from Kalkallo Servo...

Jack Newnes speaks very well, the leadership that was mentioned when he was drafted already comes through.

He is a Luke Power look-a-like too! Let's hope he has the same career.
