I'm really surprised that we haven't used him as an onballer this season. Unsurprising that he does well wherever he's needed, half back, tagging... but to me he's always been the midfielder type we've been screaming out for over a decade.

But Mitch Owens tonight (and has previously) reminds me of a young Wayne Carey. Obviously plays up and over the ground more which is the way footy is played now. He looks bigger, heavier, slower, less agile etc... I prefer last year's model as it gave us a point of difference in the midfield. Last year, his physique was more Judd like. This year, more Crouch like. Still going to be a great player, very skillful and smart.
