Re: What happened in the final 10-15 mins last night?

It looked like they were running out of legs.
Possibly the six day break, coming back from Perth (4 a.m. return Monday) and also a heavy surface.

Re: Gresham out for the season

Just wondering if that shifting surface at Optus last week had something to do with Gresham’s injury?

Re: In the mix for round 20

Webster could also miss through injury, my ins would be Hanners, Owens and Highmore or Connolly, NWM is surely a better option than Wood, would also like to see Campbell in to help RoMo probably at the expense of Paton or Sharman. Webster trained well today and no apparent injury. Gresham, Billing’...

Training 6/7

Went to training today and it was a very enthusiastic session with a lot of energy. Obvious absentees were Clark and Howard, wIth Dmac and Hannebery not appearing to train. I got there a little late but did not see Gresham on the track. One of the trainers collected his water bottle and took it in t...

He has a very punchable head along with Petracca who I cannot stand.
Together they help to make Melbourne high on my most hated list

I think it could be that bringing back both Billings and Jones the.same week has influenced the decision.
Also Jones had played two VFL matches, and Billings was coming back from a hamstring injury.

Training today 5/5/22

At training today and a pretty good session with nearly everyone there. The following reports Roma was moving well and looks certain to play Bytel had knee strapped but still joined in full training. Gresh apparently has a sore hip and was largely running laps and having a very light session.Spoke t...

Re: Selling games!!!!????

I don’t like selling games but if we miss goals from 20 metres out directly in front we deserve to lose. Also Steele running near the mark of a free gifted them @ goal. That in a game when goals are very difficult to kick is a killer. All our players should be told to concentrate and not give away 5...

It was always an incredible risk considering his history.
You can’t play football at this level without head knocks, especially a key position player in marking contests.

I’ve waited for years for old Father Time to catch up to them.

Zac Jones in full training but looks like he has some catch up on fitness needed. Full training? As in exactly what the main players were also doing? If so great news. As I think earlier reports just had him doing light training off by himself? No he was in the group and not by himself. He may not ...
