I think Trav is right - the strength of the signal does seem to vary from venue to venue (equipment related?). Looks like no wind or rain in Perth this Friday night though.

If it is the same as last year then it will be on one hour delay on free to air. A 6.30 start means that there will be the usual 15 minute lead in, and the actual telecast won't start til 6.45.

The day we finshed the season on top of the ladder! (incidentally it was also the day Lady Di was killed).

Those arguing that the AFL is poorly run should take a bit of a look at its "contemporary": the ARL. The AFL has gone from strength to strength over the last 20 years while the ARL has frankly become a joke. The sooner it folds and all Australians embrace the Australian game the better.

You guys have to be joking if you think that was accidental. The replay showed Brown knew exactly what he was doing. Thug.

Huge natural justice issues here if the Club wants to take it on. The AFL will no doubt argue that players should know what is and isn't acceptable, but to let things go for a whole game without any apparent attempt to settle the two players down, and then to hit one of them with a 12 week ban, is j...

I don't think the tickets were actually sent out until late last week - thus the sms to let people know they were coming so they could book for the pre-game function knowing they had a ticket.

Yes, it means that you will receive your ticket for the Freo game shortly, and suggests that you book to come along to our pre-game function at the Subi Footy Club (at the Western end of the ground).

If you are coming to the Freo game, consider coming along to the Western Saints pre-game function. Like the Eagles game last weekend, we are having it at the President's room at Subi Footy Club at the Western end of Subi Oval. Its just an easy stroll from there to our seats, and the room is open fo...

Actually I want to revise my post. Parko is stuck in the early 80s when he was coach of Carlton and the Saints were easy beats. In the mid 80s we were mockingly referred to as "the Carlton seconds" after picking up a string of ex-Carlton players (McConville, Kourkoumelis, Marcou, Sheldon, ...

When was the last time David Parkin said anything positive about St Kilda? I have been watching and listening to him for a long time and I can't remember the last time he picked the Saints in a game that was 50/50 or even 60/40. If you ask me he is stuck in 1971 and seems to think that the Saints ar...
