Re: Clark not built for Footy, king should be traded, pou will never make it

All 3 are overreactions to much smaller issues. But issues nonetheless. Clark's injury run is of huge concern. Needs to get on the park for some consistency. King's form could be physical, mental, or both. Needs a change of scenery (on the ground). Pou needs a few individual wins to give himself som...

Re: In a way the Hawks will be the ultimate test .

Just like any game against a bottom 4 team, if we win it's just a bottom 4 team, if we lose, it's a bottom 4 team.

No comparison to Roo at the same stage of his career. None at all. Definitely not.... 2001Nick waltzes into Harvard - Gehrig, Everitt, Loewe, Hall...with Hamill, Hayes, Harvey, Milne in the mid and small forwards....SUPPORT. ALL DAY EVERY GAME...for years. King crawls into Frankston TAFE and he's g...

Re: Hunter Clark

The crouch rumours came from the same place as those suggesting Pou was going back to SA.

I wouldn't believe them.

Just because you hear the same rumour from multiple places doesn't make it any more true.

Re: King ...out of form or

I feel like that a form slump is what Max needs to break the shackles of expectation.

Once he no longer feels the teams weight on his shoulder he can be freed to just play good footy.

Was showing enough to warrant an extension. Has the speed, height, and leap to succeed.

We have enough to delist ahead of him to take 4 or 5 draftees this year.

Re: King ...out of form or

Needs a run further up the ground, he is better running back than he is as deepest forward. That's what Caminiti is for.

Re: Sandringham V North Melbourne

Agree with all those points, watched the stream.

Thought Heath's running stood out as a big improvement on last year. Had a few almost chase downs of quick opponents who tried to take him on.

Re: Match Thread: Saints vs Kangas

Best of the Saints listed: Jones, Sharman (in defense), Collard, Paton. Caminiti plenty of chances, but won the ball under a bit too much pressure and missed a few. Dow was good when he got his hands on it. I think Collard and Paton could come into the side next week. Dow and Henry a chance as well....

Re: Match Thread: Saints vs Kangas

Dow had a good last quarter in the clinches, racked up quite a few important clearances. Agree that he isn't banging down the door for selection. Curious if anyone who watches the games thinks Arie is close? Personally I feel like he has a lot to work on defensively, seems almost allergic to tackli...

Comments about Norths VFL side are more of a reflection on where the senior side is.
A few obviously have not checked VFL Ladder
VFL ladder doesn't matter to a side that purely exists to develop players to AFL level.

VFL vs North

Qtr time now, playing well against a clearly undermanned North midfield.

Clark 6 touches and a goal
Dow 6 touches and a goal
Sharman, Collard, Caminiti a goal each

It's a good question.

Are those goals 'team goals' that Higgins just gets on the end of and gets his name against, or are they genuinely created by Higgins?

Re: Byrnes, Bonner Not up to it..

Bonner has to play to his main strength, kicking the pill long. His dicky 20 metre passes are horrible to watch and end up turning the ball over. Find a long target up the field and kick to him. Now that Jack Hayes is back and firing supporting Marshall, there should be a tall target up field. Max ...
