Gilbert will for sure as he grows more experience. Gram already is in my mind, just needs to improve some of his disposals. Raph is a possibility. Some will say right now to delist him, but really I think we should give him one more decent year before we decide if he will or won't flourish. thing a...

Reminds me of a young Kouta / Riccuito.
seemed to match up all right on judd, i thought. one of the tougher opponents he'll face in his career. this seems to suggest that pace isn't a problem. whether he has a big enough tank is the question

our best wasn't good enough

i thought the game plan was first class tonight. at least we took some chances and went out to try to win it. effort wasn't a problem, though execution often let us down. perhaps i over-rate us, but i would say the eagles are one of the very few teams who match us for talent. they ran us into the gr...

if gwilt is selected he should be given a run on the wing. like my old favourite ts40 he is not a defender's bootlace at this stage of his career. however, i believe he could be handy on a wing where both his height and his kicking can be used to our advantage and why did we delist troy he had a gr...

it is quite possible that kerr, judd and embley will miss and cousins is coming back from injury. it will be interesting to see how some of their so-called "depth" stands up. blokes like kerr, judd and cousins are so good that they make the guys around them look better than they are in man...

He just doesn't work hard enough when things aren't going right for him. He often ambles up the field at half-pace, but then fails to apply any pressure. I don't know if you can forgive that in this day and age when everyone needs to pull their weight. true, sometimes his frustration gets on top of...

yeppers. I dont think l. fisher is the messiah as some ppl rate him, dont think he is a terrible player either. i do think he is a first 22 medium defender who can run a bit. saw him lurking the forward line a bit when he followed his man. also did some good work rebounding, can take a mark, can sp...

Re: Some Positives

15) dal's goal. in the second half of this season (starting with the eagles game) this young superstar has developed a knack of kicking the important game-busting goals. he did it again yesterday when he grabbed one virtually straight out of the centre bounce. the resulting kick nearly lifted the r...

I'm surprised a few here don't seem to rate Leigh Fisher. I am surprised. His fitness seems pretty remarkable and in defence he's really proven his worth. Maybe I'm missing something?? :? i'm with you. i rate both the fishers very highly. leigh is courageous and hardworking and a very good m...

yeah, i hate them too.

but we don't want to become too preoccupied with the baker issue. we have our biggest game of the season coming up and we need to keep the focus on that.

who do you think should come in?

You mean like Ricky Nixon?
no. someone with an official position at the club. then it becomes our word against theirs.

I would not assume that Blake will keep rucking 50% against all teams. I will assume that RL will match him up on a player that RL believes he needs to negate/beat. ie His Crawford match up. i suspect you are right, but i'm not so certain that is a good thing. rix/m. clarke offer very little around...

you covered most of them beautifully, but here's a couple more 13) blake. seemed to add an ingredient to our midfield that has been absent all year. the missing link? it all just seemed to click back into place with him playing as a follower. whether that was just a coincidence or not, i don't know,...
