It's become a mental battle at the moment, a battle which thus they far has been a losing one. They are in a mold, and now opposition teams know that if they weather the early first quarter storm, put on pressure for the rest of the game, we will crumble easily. It's happened so much now that they s...

Not with a bang but a whimper

Now that's it's been a good day since our crushing defeat at the hands (or rather the feet) of the Western Bulldogs, and by has it given us a lot to talk about. They didn’t go down fighting, they didn’t gown down with a gutsy effort, heck, after the first quarter they simply fell, that was it; n...

I thought the umpiring was one of its better days. It was much more free flowing and not as regulated. I think its come to a point where we complain so much about umpiring each week we look specifically for things to point out. There were some mistakes in it yes, but not nearly as bad as the last co...

Gilbert will for sure as he grows more experience. Gram already is in my mind, just needs to improve some of his disposals. Raph is a possibility. Some will say right now to delist him, but really I think we should give him one more decent year before we decide if he will or won't flourish.

Anything, his effort and courage is first class, but as I've said, he is a player much like Dal who is capable of cracking a game open, but seems to fall just short of the threshold. His marking is awesome to watch as well :) Replacing him with g on hiss off days and when he is getting toweled up co...

Thought there were several key factors that led to our eventual downfall, and our downfall for a lot of the season. Fitness has been improving over the year, especially considering we were decimated by injuries at the start of the year. As for stamina, players are paid a bucket load, and should be f...

He had a wonderful game, and what I think was a result of excellent midfield delivery. A few people have said it, but when you give him decent delivery, he will perform, and that’s exactly what happened tonight. He even mentioned as such in his post game interview. Also good to see his all around ...

If we can make this game a turning point and begin to try and realize half of our potential, I don't see why we can't make it into the top 8. The problem is, that if we do make it into the finals, how far can we get? But making it there and having a crack is much better then not being there at all. ...

I really couldn't believe that he got penalized. After a few earlier dodge ones i thought to myself "It can't get any worse." Too bad it did. I had to walk away from the TV in disgust after the whistle blew for holding the ball. But what do you expect from a player who can punch someone 50...

I think what frustrates a lot of posters (or at least me) is we are capable of much better. We've shown sparks of amazing heart, courage and football skill (West Coast). The thing is we can never seem consistent with it, whether it be the coach, playing group or selection, we don't seem to be gellin...

I personally think he can bounce back if he has the motivation to, and not for minute will I blame him if he decides "stuff this" and packs it all in at season end. I agree. I wonder how many times in he's late career he's been told "Don't worry Harvs, we'll get the cup next year&quo...

Hopefully we'll see Havs bounce back next week :)

I'm not pulling the trigger, just suggesting that perhaps his age is catching up to him. He is 36 this year, I mean he's a legend, but not invincible. It could be an injury, or just the fact we rely on him to much and don't give him the necessary resting time, but it's unusual even for him to have a...

Harvey

Another week he had basically zero impact (he wasn't the only one in our midfield I know). Not taking anything away from the champ, he's a living legend, but he looks buggered after one kick. I mean I think this goes beyond a form slump. Perhaps he's body is slowly but surely giving out? I'm not bla...
