Re: Match Thread: Saints vs Hawks
General observations…
King - one instance where the ball went to him and he leapt at it = mark and goal
Howard - looks a heck of a lot better when he is doing defender things rather than looking to perform circus tricks

Re: Match Thread: Saints vs Hawks
A new experience for me…
My Kayo is 25s behind live play.
Every time a forward takes a mark, I can look at the app to see if they kick it.
Strange way to watch but does a lot to reduce anxiety. I feel like a clairvoyant

Re: Moderation Log
I’ve locked the thread - Euro-Yroke Whilst there were semblances of interesting conversation there… it took a dark turn once we got into the justifications/rationalisations/paternalism area. That invoked a very strong response and that’s where the thread was worth stopping following numerous reports.

Re: Euro-Yroke
Hi everyone… I’m going to lock this topic as it’s gotten quite hostile with quite a few questionable posts. Apologies for not acting sooner but it wasn’t one I was keeping an eye on.

16 disposal second half is worth some kudos

4 touches to half time is a disgraceful effort
Is getting some touches now… a further 7 so far in the third but no real impact

I reckon Paton plays mid and perhaps Bonner spends more upfield.

I’d be excited to see Schoenmaker play…
Something about the kid. Feels like this was a bumper draft year

Re: Clubs vie for Saint
Really depends on the context. Sometimes a weighted value on a particular way of thinking could be a sign of autism… especially if it’s evident from a young age and prevalent across the lifespan (effect of support/severity) not withstanding. Alternatively, sometimes people suddenly latch on to mecha...

Re: Clubs vie for Saint
Or you could just not be Grandpa Mike. You know Grandpa Mike. Every family reunion everybody has to cater to his absurd hate of the colour red. No rhyme or reason to it… that’s just his thing. So the whole family goes to the effort of making sure that his plates, cups etc don’t have any red on them....

BM… I don’t watch any footy related media. As such, I had no idea what you were talking about or any inclination to follow it up. It would be nice however if you stopped adding steps to your posting. Actually bothering to go in to detail about what it is your talking about… in a thread that you star...

Re: Ins and Outs
As an aside, I dont get the obsession with bringing Schoenmaker in every week, is it just the obsession with us getting potential value very late in the draft? Not knowing all the VFL stats, with all the focus on how many disposals he is getting I get the vibe he is basically a younger Bonner, all ...

Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
I did a criminology grad cert for my own learning when I was new at my job (3-4 years ago) - I’m a health professional in a court setting. One of the essay questions I tackled due to its interest, was are the Australian public happy with their legal system (or something to that that effect). At this...

Higgins for all of his flaws is quite an effective and pretty consistent small forward. If he could straighten up his goal kicking to always mail the gimmies, he’d be elite

Re: Byrnes, Bonner Not up to it..
I have been bullish on Byrnes since his strong start to last year but IMO his game has too many deficiencies. He’s an extreme runner that can’t win a lot of ball… so whilst it’s great he gets to contests… he tends not to do a whole lot there. Given that he’s not lightning fast… he’s the type of play...

Why …someone tell me why Max King can’t lead up at the ball carrier??? Why stand around, wrestle, for miracles?? FMD if you jump you’re about 8ft ….so stand and wrestle??? Rob Harvey WTF are you teaching re forward craft …oh wait.. 1-5 down centre clearance…wow we are way off it 3 years away.. IF e...

If someone does not like this post for political reasons, then tough s***. I rest my case on a truth Defence. I don’t like this post on the basis of needless hostility. The content before this was an opinion that you didn’t back up… which is fine. Then you fire the above out directed at… the people...

Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
Another issue IMO is the picking btw causes. I want to start this opinion off by making it clear that this view is not directed specifically at particular forumites - most notably BM and fireman who have expressed a preference for football to stay out of social issues. I respect that and don’t want ...
