Spoke with an ex-player on New years Eve who used to play under Ross at the Swans.

He said Ross was the best coach he'd ever had (he'd also played at another MEL club) and "...was a tactical genius".

Most pundits like Lloyd haven't seen the Saints play a lot. Lloyd was playing footy last year (not watching), so it's understandable.
