I don't think the Saints will be using pick 80.

They will use picks 32 and 60 ans maybe pick 64.

Pick 80 won't be used.

Ross is a Hawthorn supporter , but he mentioned twice that St.kilda are making a big play for Hurley and are prepared to trade a big name.

Michael Hurley?

On 3AW this morning at about 7.10am, on the rumour file Ross mentioned twice that the Saints are after Michael Hurley and are prepared to give up a big name to get him.

Anyone hear it or know anything?

We Live in Hope

Although it is less than 48 hours after the game , the pain is still there and will be for a long time. As a supporter who went to my first game back in 1972, the thing that has kept me going all these years is hope.Even in the miserable 1980's when we got 5 wooden spoons in 6 years. Without hope yo...

What a great guy. Did in fact own the deli/fruit shop in Bambra Rd. South Caulfield for quite a few years.

One of the nicest men you will ever meet. Played between 1967 & 1973 ( with a few years off) and then came back for a final season in 1976.

Can everyone please give the Max V Zac comparison a break.

Zac is a definite starter, as state by Ross yesterday on the Sunday Footy Show.

If Max is selected(highly unlikely) it won't be for Zac. The only change i would think is Eddy out and Dempster in.

i think we are playing with semantics. With a ground capacity of nearly 100,000 you would assume if you got a grand final ticket/seat whatever you call it, 99.99% of people would think they were sitting and not standing.

i understand that the club has to raise as much revenue as it can. However what it should have done is organised a system that the last lot of social club member to join up get the standing room tickets. With technology today how hard would this be. Otherwise what is the use of being a Foundation soc...

I notice that Jonesy has a photo of Lockett under his name. if Harvey is a traitor what is Lockett then?

The club had huge debts. The past players still owed money were offered something like 22.5 cents in the dollar and all other creditors about 7.5 cents in the dollar. i think these figures are correct. Trevor Barker who won the best and fairest in 1981 and won a car gave the car back to the club for...

For the younger forumites that never saw Plugger play it is hard to explain how good Tony Lockett was. Suffice to say that St.Kilda may not have existed today if not for him. Followers in the 80's went to see St.Kilda just to see Lockett play. He was awesome. As for the comparison with Dunstall ther...
