The first time I met Blakey, I asked if I could have my photo taken with him. He said, do you know who I am. And I said yes, Jason Blake. And he said, and you still want your photo taken with me? He was deadly serious. Love the Blake, always have. Haha that's a good story, I guess it sums Blake up ...

Does anyone know from past experience if you can go into a different allocated standing room bay ( ie. go from M15 to M11) or are they very strict? From what i remember last year i don't think it was that difficult to just walk into a different bay.. Hey Tom, I was the guy next to you last year :) ...

How Lenny misses All Australian makes me really question the reliability/validity of the award... I mean please. I am very happy to see that the Umpire's don't get over awed by a Swan 30-40 touch game, or a Goddard 30+ game, and realise that a Hayes and Judd who win every hard ball and and don't get...

This is very exciting, I have a secure ticket, but last year I was in a position that was screaming out for this sort of opportunity. I hope some of you guys are fotunate enough to snap a ticket up today. Good luck all.

What about the game against the Hawks one year where he kicked 3 goals in a quarter and turned the game? I also remember a ripper against Sandilands down at Tasmania, where he kicked a goal or two and had 20+ touches. Then he also had a ripper defensive game on Adam Goodes one final I think, but tha...

I am extremely happy with this move. They will do hardly anything tomorrow, fans will be happy just to see them (if you can get there), and it gets it over and done with from the clubs point of view. Think back to last year, Roo was running laps, probably fresh from having an injection to take care ...

I say count yourselves lucky anyone who complains about standing room. there are a heap of people who would take it in a heat beat. I was fortunate enough to get a ticket at the last minute in 2009, and even though I was standing I was just stoked to be there, had a great view, got there early and h...

We just don't have a great match ups for him the past few games, and has started on the pine.

Gwilt, Zac, Fish take the talls, Dempster has taken his spot in the starting 6 purely for match up reasons.

This is exactly what I thought at the time. The fans knew it was all over in the 3rd, most of the chatter in the 4th was about not getting injured, and 'next week'.

I don't like my chances this year. I haven't got unlimited cash to blow like years gone by,so I have to set a limit, and i reckon that might have me in trouble. I'm seriously going to have a crack at bribing my way in saturday. $100 grease sandwhich handed to a pass out attendant is a fair chance Pr...

Holy crap the umpire's are just letting the game go... I reckon iv'e seen about 3 or 4 would've been free kicks... Definitely seeing some favoritism toward one side. Havent seen that. What I have seen is one side get the ball and the other struggle. Nah... take another look! Reid pushes out Mooney ...

Geelong look slow... only looking dangerous when Varco or Wojak get it. As soon as Gaz gets it, 4 pies swarm on him.

Interesting idea, can't see it happening. McQulater or Eddy will get that role, Jones will be going to Griffen, just like he'd go to Cooney if he was playing.

In Baker Out: Dempster or Eddy... Bit of a dilema... Eddy playes in the forward half, he can run all day, tackle and chase, plays a roll similar to McQualter. Dempster been playing as a backman of late, and probably makes sense for him to come out for Baker. Thing is Dempster was quite good against ...

Saints v Hawks at Tassie 2009. While your point me be valid, there is going to be 22 dogs players having a red hot go next week.

In saying that, I do fancy our chances.

If they're smart they'd take someone from the saints, a retiring player - pies with max - a or current assistantant and get them in the coaching group. Good idea actaully, didn't even consider this. Would be a very good influence on their young group, probably a player all these kids grew up watchi...

no use kicking it to the "hotspot" when there are 3 players versus one because it will come straight back out. It's a judgement call at the time whens it's one on one go the long kick, otherwise don't waste the posession. What if teams have flooded into our 50, so in theory it's even numb...

Shallow versus Deep Entry

Im talking delivery into the forward line. There are time we get possesion via a mark, and are about 60-70m from goal on the half forward line. When we are on the break after quickly obtaining possesion from a turn over, this next disposal is generally a wheel and go long kick to the fat side, to on...
