dont know if anyone saw i think it was about last thursdays herald sun, st kilda, hawthorn, richmond and essendon came out and said no to cousins...collingwood said they would have to weigh up the issues and were undecided (probably where speculation he would be at collingwood came from) and no othe...

if he was to play anywhere in 08 (i doubt he will) in his contract they would have to have 1 - Will not get a game until he and the club doctors (including psychologists) cleared him to play (mentally and physically) 2 - One and one chance only, any off field misbehaviour and his contract is torn up...

If cousins is deregistered from the AFL does that mean he could never come back? Imagine the benders Gardiner would have with him??? Its not worth it, might aswell bring Chick with him, jeez that have some big nights. Would prefer if we kept going as we are. Got Schneider, King and the others, don't...

Without doubt I am looking forward to this year more than last year. We now have acquired some depth, which is what we have been lacking. No doubt we are better off with the 4 new recruits than pick 26 and pick 90. And as mentioned the average player age has dropped since 2005. I think Kings body wi...

If a player isn't wanted by their previous club, then there is a good chance that Lyon wants him at St Kilda. Wouldn't at all be surprised if we take him in the PSD as a Hamill/Gehrig replacement. i hope this is not the case. with king and gardiner rotating the ruck that will give kosi a chance to ...

i dont think we have had poor list management at all...we have possibly the most depth we have had for quite some time. and surely the saints wouldnt delist themselves down to 32 players when now they can only get themselves back up to 37? that would be foolish imo and a professional club in the eli...

please, i hope we don't look at whitnall....he is the most over rated player in the comp in my opinion, no-one even rates him any more though i suppose. he didnt have a couple of good seasons at the start of his career, but is hopeless now. we don't need him, we would be better off now chasing a you...

Brownlow opinions, 2008 thoughts

Happy with trade week, big call but I think we now have the most depth we have had for as long as I can remember. We now have a mid level ruck division, where as since Everitt left we have always been down the lower end of the scale. Schneider should fit in well and allow some other players i.e Mont...

He does resemble a fruitcake. Would be good to have another strong defender though....but i suppose we need a ruckman/forward/midfielder first

Anyone know anything about Chris Johnson?

Why aren't we chasing Travis Johnstone? I would rather give pick 26 for him than Blake or this Johnson character.

I would rather get Johnstone and Carrol for 26 & Milne than anything else at the moment....all speculation from me

hudson will be a dog before the end of the day, maybe damon white aswell. mcmahon may end up at port for white.

i would think swans, dogs and demons will be the most active this week. maybe the tigers....carlton would be to if they dont drag out the judd trade.

Trade week, 2008 thoughts (not a trade thread)

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't make any trades next week. I know people love this time of year, i do to, but it is all rumours, unfounded speculation etc... a great example is Paul Haselby, people had it on good note he was keen to be a Saint, a week later he signed with the Dockers for 2 years...

What if? Collingwood get there man Chris Judd and need 2 top 10 picks Saints would certainley be in there hunting ground with pick 9 Say they trade there first pick to us (i believe its 13) we would want a good player to, collingwood would have to play ball with us. Then we could..... Collingwood - ...

Not necessarily, but Milne has been drifted around a bit, I remember last year there was a lot of speculation J Johnson and Milne were going to be traded with one another. I have never been a fan of Milne's play, although its exciting I believe it's selfish at times. And why do Hawthorn have to ask?...

Williams + pick 2 for Milne & Goose Opens up room for another player, gets rid of Milne's contract, gives us the extra forward we need to now cover Hamill and Gehrig. Kosi isn't required as much in the forward line and then watch him and Gardiner rotate. Pick 9 avalible for choosing a young ruck...
