Interesting for sure. One concept that some SS 'Xperts' believe they have found holes in, one of them even thanked himself for the effort. However, some thoughtful points that are integrated pretty well IMO.

Can't say I really like it, but it's one hell of a lot better than many of the others we have worn in the past.

WOW, Hanners has snuck in. Did not even rate a mention on the AFL site as a worthy or interesting selection. He's fallen a long way, let's hope this is his beginning as a Saint worth keeping. I will just have to happy with watching Max's development and be willing to wait for Paddy's return next year to see a game that gives me some satisfaction to watch. In the meantime I'll watch the last remaining games just because I feel I'm obliged to.

Agree that some of those decisions were 'ordinary', but surely an ex-player from any club should not be an umpire on the same team's games - he will be targeted whichever way it goes.

I can't help but think there was too much detraction before the game with players getting themselves organised with their gear and families because of their fly-out after the game, and for the coaching staff adding to that is deciding the squad a week in advance re match-ups, and the emergencies etc...

Get with it - Buttler's pressure was first class and that has a positive effect on the whole team. If he keeps up this current endeavour he will very likely get his magic back, but I'll go with the selection committee's decision, as they know more than me ...
